ob Purpose:
Support the development, implementation and alignment of the company strategy. 
Identify, evaluate and execute a variety of strategic initiatives that will maximise the return on investment.
Analysis in various areas of the business, including market forecasts, competitor share forecasts, investment Opportunities, revenue opportunities, cost savings opportunities, etc.
Develop and execute a strategic communications plan to support the OCC brand as a leader in the area. 
Oversees and insure that the procurements are in line with the budget and the delegation of authority. 


Strategy & Planning: 
To support the development and implementation of the company strategy, 
Provide strategic foresight, analysis and insight to support the development of the company strategy and planning processes,
Strategically manage all corporate planning and performance management of the company (financial, customer, processes, organization, risk, etc).
Provide support to management on set-up, develop and update all performance scorecards and individual and department KPIs
Facilitate the strategic review and planning processes with the executive and senior management to enable the development of business plans,
Identify opportunities and drive changes to improve implementation and evaluation of strategic and business planning processes in the organisation to enable better performance tracking and reporting capacity Key challenges
Support the risk management process and alignment with risk owners to ensure clear mechanisms are in place to control critical business risks 
Provide high quality expert advice to enable strategic thinking and optimise the strategic planning processes for the organisation

Business Development and Investment 
Formulate the long-term and short-term investment objectives, activities, plans and programmes for the mobilization and investment of funds and have them approved as per the Delegation of Powers.
Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
Identify, evaluate and execute a variety of strategic initiatives, including investments, acquisitions, and strategic projects & partnerships, with a focus on the Cement Industry and related industry.
Work with management to identify, organize, assess and prioritize new ideas for strategic partnerships and investments.
Source, research, and recommend potential venture investment, acquisition and other strategic opportunities.
Undertake and manage the necessary due diligence, financial modelling, risk analysis and mitigation in the structuring of loans, equity investments, guarantees, B-loans or other forms,
Build financial analysis and valuation models for various situations, including acquisitions, strategic investments, disposition of assets, in coordination with CFO, 
Prepare and deliver presentations to board/investment committee and senior management.
Establish risk assessment parameters and exposure norms in relation to investments.

Business-/ Market Intelligence: 
Monitor and assess market participants and trends in related markets for OCC and assist in the formulation of strategies to grow in new adjacent markets, 
Develop and maintain excellent corporate intelligence about key competitors and market developments 
To drive & further develop the company planning process and market intelligence coordination, 
To manage the collection and interpretation of market intelligence and data to provide actionable foresight.
Support Marketing team to establish yearly marketing strategy and plan and align the same to the company strategy and objectives. 
Support in analysis on potential impact of marketing initiatives to support the marketing team to define target of marketing functions.
Provide support to the procurement team to on set-up, develop and update the procurement strategy, manual.
Provide support to the management on the preparation of the budget related to the procurement.
Oversees and insure that procurements of the company are within the budget and delegation. 

Corporate Communications 
Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy for internal and external communications including communication with government bodies and key stakeholders, media relations, employee communications. 
Develop and execute a strategic communications plan designed to establish the brand as a cement manufacturing leader, 
Build and maintain a trustful relationship with business partners and other organizations to support long term business success, 
Develop the CSR policy and lead the initiatives that will support and enhance the image of the company and build strong relationships with OCC stakeholder. 

Qualifications and experience:
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor`s Degree in any related filed and/ or MBA from a well reputed institute.  
Should have Professional Degree in one of the following discipline; strategy/ investment / Finance / Accountancy / Banking / Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 15 years’ work experience out of which 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track of experience in investment, corporate strategy development, financial modelling and communication. 
Preferable candidates with good knowledge of capital market, securities law guideline and corporate finance  

High proficiency in excel and financial modelling and good power point and presentation skills

Understanding of financial valuation analysis related to M&A and partnerships, including financial modelling capabilities.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to thrive in a project-based environment with a closely intertwined team.
