Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the CFO in formulating the long term and short term objectives, activities, plans, policies and programmes for the Accounts
2. Assist the CFO in designing procedures, checks and internal controls for the effective management of the Accounts Department
and preparation of Accounting Manuals.
3 . Ensure effi cient and effective execution of all procedures and systems relating to accounting, collections and payments,
transactions with the banks (deposits, withdrawals, etc.), budget verifi cations, bank reconciliation, release of cash fl ows to the
departments, supplier advances and deposits, etc.
4. Supervise the preparation of periodic accounts to be placed before the Executive Committee. Conduct fi nancial analysis of the
monthly accounts and prepare notes required for the Executive Committee meeting.
5. Plan the overall cash requirements and assist the CFO in arranging funds in case of short fall and advise on profi table utilization
in case of surplus. Co-ordinate on a regular basis with the Asst. Manager (Treasury) for the same

Education, skills & Experience:
• University Graduate with professional qualification in Accounting /MBA(finance)/CA/CPA/CFA
• Minimum of 15 years post qualification relevant experience in accountancy functions out of which 5 years in a managerial level.
• Exposure to computerized ERP systems is essential.
