Job Purpose 
Review development plans daily as a routine and reports for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practice in modern cement manufacturing company.  Coordinate activities of section operations to meet regulatory standards as prescribed in work manual. Ensure compliance is followed, so as to avoid casualty in work place

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Core Area: 
1. Plan, implement and monitor daily electrical maintenance jobs in the designated area.  
2. Responsible for supervision and control of all electrical of equipment / systems in the designated area – preventive, breakdown and shutdown
3. Schedule and implement preventive maintenance jobs in the designated area 
4. Measure and report performance of the unit, as defined by the organization (like time to attend a call, time to rectify a minor fault etc.) and monitor the same
5. Supervise and follow-up on daily basis routine inspection, preventive maintenance schedules and repairs of electrical equipment, 
6. Schedule and implement preventive electrical maintenance jobs in the designated area in conjunction with the concerned department. 
7. Troubleshoot and rectify electrical problems
8. Actively participate in design and implementation of projects at the plant locations
9. Create manning schedules in cooperation with immediate sub-ordinates.
10. Supervise and follow-up routine inspection, preventive electrical maintenance schedules and repairs on a daily basis of electrical equipment and gives guidance to operational and maintenance personnel.
11. Ensure recording of electricity consumption, analyses data and takes appropriate action.
12. Liaise with other departments to ensure coordination of activities.
13. Establish and maintain adequate repair workshop and ensures repair of electrical equipment. May make provision for repairs with outside contractor and monitor / control the same accordingly.
14. Prepare and maintain records / reports/ documents related to the electrical maintenance section such as; machine history cards, technical and personnel reports, log books, etc.
15. Identify avenues for cost reduction (outsourcing of preventive maintenance, outsourcing of non-critical activities, reduction in OT, etc.), indigenisation of spares, higher uptime of equipment, automation etc. in various operations and implement the same.
16. Liaise with other departments to ensure coordination of activities and smooth run of equipments.
17. Prepare shift-wise schedules and delegate powers, responsibilities, tasks etc. to his subordinates from time to time as he may be authorised to do. 
18. Monitor manpower resources, spare parts and equipment required to carry out the electrical maintenance activities effectively & economically and advise HES in case of shortages or deficiencies
19. Track technology trends relating to cement equipment and study the feasibility of implementation of the same
20. Carry out all other duties as assigned to him by the superiors from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience 
- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering graduate from well reputed organization. 
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a similar industry preferably in cement plant of similar size. 
- Significant experience with career progression through increasingly more responsible positions in cement plant,
- Experience with the modern cement electrical maintenance technology.
